In 2021/22 the National Deaf Children’s Society aims to raise £25 million to fund our range of services and campaigning work, through an active programme of supporter recruitment and fundraising to individuals, companies and charitable trusts. Key to our success is ensuring that our activity is carried out to a consistently high level, complying with all relevant guidance and legislation, and that we provide an efficient and responsive supporter care service.

The Supporter Care and Compliance Manager oversees the supporter care function, ensuring gifts are processed promptly and accurately, queries and complaints are investigated and responded to fully and appropriately, and supporters’ preferences are recorded and actioned correctly. This role also manages the Fundraising Compliance Officer, tasked with monitoring and quality controlling our fundraising activity to ensure high standards at all times.

This is a pivotal role within the directorate, and we are looking for someone who has a strong track record in customer service delivery and the interpersonal skills needed to lead, manage and represent the team across the organisation and externally.
